Founded in 2014 by Bernie (BW) and LaVonn Simpkins, The Simpkins Family Foundation provides grants for children & family programs, education and entrepreneurship, healthcare and the arts.
"Hold your head up high and be somebody" - This quote has been repeated for at least four generations in our family and that spirit of leadership, integrity, and the desire for everyone to be able to hold their heads high is part of the legacy we've been entrusted with. Based in Winter Park, Florida, our family-run Board works with local innovators and community builders that provide meaningful advancements in their fields.
